Role Description
The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems that support process control solutions for web-based industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing electrical design projects, guiding engineers and technicians, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in sales, service, and manufacturing to translate customer requirements into robust solutions, as well as supporting troubleshooting efforts for complex electrical and control system issues.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Design and Power Systems, including designing circuits, panels, and power distribution for industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in electrical and control systems in manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance to adhere to OSHA, NEC, NFPA, UL, CSA, ATEX, and customer-specific standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional, and global team environment.
- Experience with process control equipment, web-based industries, or similar industrial sectors is beneficial.
