Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Electrical Estimator Location: London Salary: £80,000 per annum

The Role

*

Preparing detailed cost estimates for Electrical Building Services projects.

*

Pricing MEP tenders with values up to £15 million.

*

Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

*

Producing enquiries for suppliers and specialist subcontract packages.

*

Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.

*

Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.

*

Liaising with clients, consultants and the supply chain to produce competitive tenders.

*

Working closely with the pre-construction team to ensure timely tender submissions.

*

Attending site visits and tender meetings where required.

*

Supporting project handovers following successful tenders.

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services industry.

*

Experience working for an Electrical or M&E Contractor.

*

Experience pricing commercial Electrical projects.

*

Trimble Estimation software experience is highly desirable.

*

Strong understanding of electrical building services.

*

Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

Able to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
