Electrical Estimator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing M&E contractor based in the Solent area.

The successful candidate will have previous electrical estimating experience within the M&E/building services industry, ideally working on large-scale or multi-million-pound projects.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate tenders for electrical building services projects

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

• Completing detailed take-offs and labour/material costings

• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations

• Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options

• Working closely with Pre-Construction, Design and Commercial teams

Personal Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Electrical/M&E Estimator

• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems

• Experience with take-offs and tender submissions

• Good commercial awareness and knowledge of current market rates

• Confident using Excel and estimating software

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
