About the Role

Our client requires a qualified and diligent Electrical Installation Electrician to join their established Installation & Maintenance department in Sunderland . You will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems and components in various settings, from new builds to existing structures. This role is essential for ensuring that all electrical work meets industry standards and safety regulations, directly contributing to the reliability and safety of our clients' properties and operations. The successful candidate will be a key player in delivering high-quality electrical services within the Tyne and Wear area.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures according to specifications and safety codes.
• Perform routine inspections to identify and rectify electrical faults and potential hazards.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Manage electrical installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support to clients.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician with a recognized certification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds).
• Proven experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial electrical installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and safety regulations (BS 7671).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving license is required for site visits in and around Sunderland .
