Electrical Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified Electrical Installation Engineer to undertake a variety of electrical installation and maintenance projects in and around Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations. This role demands a strong technical understanding, practical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on commercial and industrial sites within the West Midlands .

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in compliance with BS 7671 standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, performing necessary repairs and modifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections and safety checks of electrical installations.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety standards, minimizing risks to personnel and the public.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Installation Engineer or Electrician.
• Relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring systems, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A full UK driving licence is required for travel to various work sites in the Wolverhampton area.
