Electrical Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified Electrical Installation Engineer to join their dedicated team in Milton Keynes . This is a hands-on role focused on the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems and components within various commercial and industrial environments. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all installations meet stringent quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. The role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of electrical principles, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project within the Installation & Maintenance sector, requiring your presence on-site consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the installation of electrical wiring, conduits, components, and fixtures according to project plans and blueprints.
• Install and connect power supply systems, wiring systems, lighting, and control systems.
• Perform testing and commissioning of newly installed electrical systems to ensure they are safe and fully functional.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments during installation.
• Ensure all work complies with current BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades on site to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements

• Certified Electrician with a recognized qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation).
• Proven experience in performing electrical installations in diverse settings.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Strong practical skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
