Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems and components as per design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on electrical installations.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults and issues, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the latest BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including testing certificates and site reports.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with recognized certification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, C&G 2365).
• Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and fault finding.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel within the Edinburgh area.
