Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift)

4 on / 4 off Days | 6:00am - 6:00pm
£50k+ Overtime Available
A leading food manufacturing business is looking to recruit an electrically biased, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent day shift basis.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
Fault find on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Work on high-speed production, packaging and processing equipment.
Ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently and reliably.
Complete maintenance documentation and update CMMS records.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Assist with equipment installations, modifications and upgrades.
Maintain high standards of food safety, quality and health & safety compliance.Requirements
Time-served Engineering apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
Electrically biased with strong multi-skilled maintenance experience.
Minimum 5 years' food manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience working within a fast-paced FMCG or food production environment.
Strong fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled machinery.
Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Must live within approximately 30 minutes of Northampton.What's on Offer?

Overtime available and paid at 1.25x.
