A well-established SME manufacturing organisation is seeking an electrically biased maintenance engineer ( approx. 60% electrical / 40% mechanical) to support its production facility. The company operates large-scale industrial machinery serving sectors including defence and offshore energy.

This role would suit a hands-on engineer with strong electrical maintenance expertise, particularly in the maintenance, fault-finding and repair of AC and DC motors and industrial electrical systems , alongside solid mechanical maintenance capability.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will support both planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes to maximise plant reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). With in-house design and manufacturing expertise, the company offers long-term stability and career development within a well-established engineering environment.

Shift: 7:00am 3:30pm (some overtime available)

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line electrical maintenance and repair support for production machinery.

Maintain, fault-find and repair AC/DC motors and associated industrial control systems .

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns.

Support mechanical maintenance activities where required (approx. xwwtmva 40%).

Assist with continuous improvement and equipment upgrade projects.
