Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a leading UK manufacturing company based in Coalville? This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting continuous improvement across the site. - APPLY NOW via the job board. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer your role will involve:
- Carry out planned and emergency maintenance, focusing on electrical and automation systems
- Diagnose faults using PLC/HMI systems, alarms, instruments and electrical test equipment
- Repair electrical and control equipment including motors, sensors, safety circuits, drives, encoders and servo systems
- Support control-system upgrades and keep all related documentation up to date
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, testing, adjustments, calibration checks and safety checks
- Complete routine checks and basic maintenance on site services including boilers, compressors, chillers, fire and sprinkler systems and water hygiene
- Investigate recurring faults, identify their causes, and work with Production and Engineering to prevent them from happening again.
- Keep accurate maintenance records in the site's maintenance management system
- Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of new or modified equipment
- Take part in training to develop skills across different equipment and maintenance areas Suitable Candidates:
- Apprentice Trained Maintenance Engineer. xwwtmva Qualified to NVQ Level 3
- Minimum 3 years maintenance engineering experience
- Strong team player
- Manufacturing experience ideally from packaging/food/FMCG
- Willingness to drive continuous improvements
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations
