About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of electrical systems and machinery in their facility in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . This role is essential for proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and timely repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns efficiently and safely.
• Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to facilitate maintenance and repair activities.
• Install and commission new electrical equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.

Requirements

• Recognized qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related trade, such as an apprenticeship.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, control systems, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and understand complex electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Experience with fault finding on various types of electrical equipment.
