Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a UK leading manufacturer with multiple sites across the UK, including a brand new manufacturing site near Desford. This role will support the electrical maintenance team at the new site.

Base Salary: £58,000 plus a performance bonus (OTE £65,000+). Overtime is paid at a premium of x1.5/x2. Shift pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (5:30‑18:00 / 17:30‑06:00). The company offers a pension up to 10%, generous holiday allowance, and an extensive training & development programme.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure plant‑wide proactive and reactive electrical maintenance to optimise factory performance
• Carry out PPM schedules and reactive maintenance activities as required
• Maintain all electrical elements such as motors, inverters, safety circuits, and perform basic fault finding on PLCs
• Undergo training on Siemens PLCS7 TIA portal systems and participate in up‑skilling opportunities

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level3 AND BTEC Level3 or higher with NVQ Level3, or Apprenticeship trained to level3 or equivalent
• Strong experience in planned and reactive electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
