Electrical Maintenance/Small Works Contract Manager

Location: Manchester Salary: £45K - £50K + Car Allowance Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Small Works Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical small works projects across a range of client sites.

The role will involve managing the day-to-day operation of the small works function, coordinating engineers, managing workloads and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. You will also act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of service and resolving any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate electrical small works projects from start to completion.

Coordinate field engineers, scheduling, workloads and resource allocation.

Monitor job progress and ensure works are completed on time and to the required standard.

*

Liaise with clients, providing updates and resolving any issues.

*

Monitor budgets, performance and KPIs to ensure commercial targets are met.

*

Review engineers' reports and identify/pricing remedial works.

*

Monitor client portals and ensure all job and compliance information is kept up to date.

*

Prepare reports and documentation relating to completed works.

*

Ensure all works comply with health & safety requirements and industry standards.

*

Support and develop engineers to maintain safe and productive working practices.

Requirements

*

Previous experience managing electrical small works or similar service-based projects.

*

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and building services.

*

Experience coordinating engineers and managing multiple jobs simultaneously.

*

Strong commercial and organisational skills.

*

Confident dealing directly with clients and managing relationships.

*

Ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.

*

Full UK driving licence
