About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their established team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is crucial for maintaining the electrical integrity and operational readiness of their industrial machinery and facility. You will be responsible for diagnosing electrical faults, performing repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical inspections and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in motors, control panels, and machinery using appropriate tools.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics , blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with experience in an industrial maintenance setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems , control circuits, and PLCs.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
• Experience with reading and working from electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with health and safety legislation relevant to electrical work.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
