About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver electrical engineering projects from conception through to completion in Coventry, West Midlands . This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively coordinate project resources, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. You will be a key player in driving project success, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives in a demanding, fast-paced environment. This on-site role is perfect for an engineer who thrives on hands-on project management and direct contribution to tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and finalize electrical engineering projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Procure project equipment and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment on site.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and implement safety procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular project status reports and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar project management role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with UK electrical regulations and safety standards.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
