Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical engineering projects from inception to completion in their Liverpool facility. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, liaising with stakeholders, and overseeing the technical aspects of electrical installations and upgrades. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to manage multiple project streams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute electrical engineering projects, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and manage project budgets effectively.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Ensure all project activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, with a strong focus on electrical projects.
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications.
