About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Electrical Project Engineer to join their remote team, managing electrical projects from inception to completion. You will oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as you will coordinate with diverse teams, suppliers, and clients. The position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from home while contributing to significant electrical engineering endeavors. We seek an individual who can effectively manage complex projects and drive successful outcomes in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, including scope definition, planning, and execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against them.
- Coordinate and direct project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Oversee procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within the electrical engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
