About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver key electrical engineering projects from their Sheffield office. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to oversee projects from initiation through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget constraints, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, including planning, execution, and closing.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery in Sheffield .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on project management.
- Proven experience managing electrical projects in industrial or commercial settings.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Agile).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
