About the Role

Our client is recruiting an accomplished Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver key electrical projects from initiation to closure in Cardiff . This role demands a blend of technical expertise and strong project management capabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these constraints.
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems and equipment.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in managing electrical engineering projects.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Solid understanding of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction or engineering environment.
Strong organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
