About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Electrical Project Engineer to manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from conception through to completion in Leeds . This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong project management skills, with a hybrid working arrangement allowing for effective collaboration both in the office and remotely. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead challenging projects and contribute to significant infrastructure or product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and clients to define project scope and objectives.
- Oversee the execution of electrical installations and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare regular project status reports and conduct project review meetings.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project management within the electrical engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control technologies.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
