About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver electrical engineering projects for their operations in Bristol . This role involves overseeing projects from the initial planning stages through to final commissioning, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You will coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to balance office-based collaboration with remote work, allowing for effective project oversight in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical components.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors and internal engineering teams.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Procure electrical equipment and materials, managing supplier relationships.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project duration.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within the electrical field.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with power systems , distribution, and control systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and risk management is essential.
