Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from inception to completion in Belfast . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site supervision and remote project management. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and budget, while coordinating with internal teams and third-party contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management principles and a thorough understanding of electrical systems, ensuring successful delivery of complex engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within the electrical engineering sector.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a hybrid work environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
