Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver key electrical projects from inception through to completion in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK . Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects, from planning and design to execution and handover.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress closely.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors and internal engineering teams on site.
• Ensure all project designs and installations comply with relevant electrical regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions.
• Communicate project status, updates, and challenges effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
• Procure necessary materials and equipment, managing supplier relationships.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project engineering or project management within the electrical field.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control technologies.
• Experience with project management software and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
