Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver electrical engineering projects. This role operates on a hybrid model, offering a blend of remote work and on-site presence in Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution, from initial planning and design through to commissioning and handover. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge and excellent project management skills, who can effectively coordinate teams and resources to ensure successful project outcomes. This is a key role within our operations, contributing to the successful completion of vital engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize electrical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure effective communication and reporting to all project stakeholders regarding project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar project management role.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and project lifecycles.
• Experience with project management software and methodologies.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects effectively in a hybrid work environment, with regular visits to Wolverhampton .
