Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver complex electrical engineering projects in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . This role is central to overseeing all phases of project execution, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. You will be the primary technical point of contact for projects, liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely corrective actions to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
• Liaise effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record of successfully managing electrical engineering projects, demonstrating strong project management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation practices across various sectors.
• Experience with project management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation effectively.
