About the Role
ITS Property Maintenance are recruiting on behalf of a longstanding client for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or electrical supervisor looking to move away from being fully tool-based into a predominantly office-based role, while still maintaining occasional site involvement.
Our client is looking to strengthen their in-house electrical function by bringing greater control over compliance and quality management. The successful candidate will initially work alongside the existing electrical delivery model before ultimately becoming the company's nominated NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
Key Responsibilities

- Support and supervise electricians carrying out works
- Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and NICEIC standards
- Carry out inspections, testing and certification where required
- Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Undertake occasional site visits to monitor workmanship and compliance
- Support the development of the client's in-house electrical capability
- Ultimately become the company's nominated NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
About You
We're looking for someone with excellent technical knowledge, but equally important is the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues, operatives and clients.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience as an Electrician, Electrical Supervisor or Qualifying Supervisor
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- A sound understanding of NICEIC standards and compliance
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A full UK Driving Licence
The Work
The successful candidate will support projects across a range of environments, including:
- Private domestic properties
- Social housing
- NHS and healthcare facilities
- Care and supported living environments
What's on Offer
- £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Company van
- Fuel card
- Predominantly office-based role with occasional site visits
- Opportunity to play a key role in developing an in-house electrical function
- Long-term career progression with a well-established business
