About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join their advanced aerospace division in Reading . This challenging role focuses on the design, integration, and testing of complex electrical systems for next-generation aircraft and aerospace components. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace applications, including power generation, distribution, control, and avionics.
- Perform detailed analysis of electrical requirements, component selection, and system integration strategies.
- Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and systems architects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues encountered during development, testing, and production phases.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and certification documents.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace electrical systems design and integration.
- Strong understanding of aerospace electrical standards (e.g., DO-254, MIL-STD-704).
- Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools relevant to aerospace electrical systems.
- Experience with avionics and control systems integration is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
