About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a dedicated Electrical Systems Engineer to join their team based in Edinburgh . This role involves the detailed design, integration, and testing of electrical systems for innovative product development. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to ensure the successful implementation of robust and efficient electrical solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
• Specify electrical components, ensuring compatibility and performance requirements are met.
• Integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components, ensuring seamless operation.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Document designs, test procedures, and results comprehensively.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready and cost-effective.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in electrical system design and integration.
• Proficiency with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience with testing and validation procedures for electrical systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
