This role, operating remotely but with potential site visits to Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire , focuses on designing, analyzing, and integrating electrical systems for next-generation products. You will collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure robust and efficient system performance. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and sub-systems for new product integration.
- Perform detailed analysis of electrical performance, power requirements, and signal integrity.
- Create comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues encountered during product development and testing phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical systems design and integration.
- Proficiency with circuit design, schematic capture tools, and simulation software.
- Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and power management ICs.
- Experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
