Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for marine vessels, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.
• Integrate electrical components and systems, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
• Conduct performance testing , diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical installations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
• Collaborate with naval architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with maritime regulations and international standards (e.g., Lloyd's Register, DNV).

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical systems design and integration, preferably within the marine or offshore industry.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of power systems , control logic, and navigation/communication systems.
• Experience with relevant maritime classification society rules and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
