About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join their team on a contractual basis, providing expertise in the design and integration of electrical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, supporting various project requirements. You will work independently and collaboratively with remote teams to ensure the successful implementation of electrical solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components according to project specifications and performance requirements.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOM) using standard engineering software.
- Perform component selection and system integration, ensuring compatibility and reliability.
- Conduct performance analysis and simulations to predict system behavior and optimize designs for efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for electrical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document design processes, test results, and technical recommendations clearly and concisely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design and systems engineering.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, project-driven environment.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients virtually.
