About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Engineer to join their team in Southampton . This role focuses on the integration, testing, and optimization of electrical systems across various applications. You will play a key part in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and safety of our clients' electrical products and infrastructure. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the development of robust and efficient electrical solutions within a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and install electrical systems, ensuring seamless operation with other project components.
- Perform comprehensive testing and diagnostic procedures on electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical faults and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, including test reports and user manuals.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to provide feedback on system performance and reliability.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations in Southampton .
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical systems integration, testing, or maintenance.
- Solid understanding of electrical principles, components, and circuits.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial control systems is a plus.
