About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Electrical Test Engineer to join their advanced manufacturing facility in Glasgow . You will be responsible for developing test procedures, operating test equipment, analyzing results, and documenting findings to guarantee product compliance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine electrical testing procedures and protocols for various products.
- Operate and maintain a range of electrical testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
- Conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing on electrical components and assemblies.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed test reports , documenting results, methodologies, and recommendations.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant industry standards and certifications.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical product testing or quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with common electrical test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical data.
