About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Electrical Test Engineer to join their advanced manufacturing facility in Glasgow . This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and performance of electrical products and systems through rigorous testing protocols. You will be responsible for developing test procedures, operating test equipment, analyzing results, and documenting findings to guarantee product compliance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine electrical testing procedures and protocols for various products.
- Operate and maintain a range of electrical testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
- Conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing on electrical components and assemblies.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed test reports , documenting results, methodologies, and recommendations.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant industry standards and certifications.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical product testing or quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with common electrical test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical data.
