About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join their testing and validation team in Oxford . You will be responsible for developing test plans, setting up test equipment, executing tests, and analyzing results. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and procedures for electrical products.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate various electrical test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Execute functional, performance, and environmental tests according to established protocols.
• Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and generate detailed test reports.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment calibration, and configuration management.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in electrical testing and validation, preferably in a product development setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit analysis, and measurement techniques.
• Experience with test automation software and programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other test instrumentation.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to document findings clearly.
