About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join their testing and validation team in Oxford . This role is vital for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of electrical products through rigorous testing procedures. You will be responsible for developing test plans, setting up test equipment, executing tests, and analyzing results. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and procedures for electrical products.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate various electrical test equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Execute functional, performance, and environmental tests according to established protocols.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and generate detailed test reports.
- Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback for product improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment calibration, and configuration management.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in electrical testing and validation, preferably in a product development setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit analysis, and measurement techniques.
- Experience with test automation software and programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other test instrumentation.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to document findings clearly.
