Join a well-established manufacturing business as the electrically biased maintenance engineer, working within a small team, maintaining equipment and machinery, fault finding and continuous improvement activities. This is an excellent opportunity if you're an experienced maintenance engineer looking for a stable days-based role with no weekend working.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with the manager and one newly qualified engineer.
• Carrying out activities on the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and basic mechanical faults.
• Support production teams with engineering solutions.
• Maintain documentation as necessary and assist with site improvement projects.

Requirements

Essential

• Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing
• 18th Edition (or willingness to update)
• Experience working with electrically controlled equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve electrical failures
• Computer literate with the ability to use maintenance management systems and maintenance records
• Positive attitude with a commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement

• PLC fault finding
• Panel wiring
• Conveyors
• 2391
• Packaging experience
