Electrician (Social Housing)
Covering: Wolverhampton, Cannock, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent & Walsall
Pay: £46,800-£52,000 p/annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract: Long-Term Ongoing Work
Experienced Electrician Required – Social Housing Contracts
AllPro Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Electrician to join a team delivering planned and responsive maintenance works across social housing properties throughout the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for consistent, long-term work on established contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work within occupied and void social housing properties
* Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
* Replacing sockets, switches, lighting, consumer units and other electrical components
* Installing and upgrading electrical circuits where required
* Carrying out testing and inspection work in line with current regulations
* Completing minor electrical works associated with kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
* Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety requirements
* Completing job sheets and relevant certification accurately
* Delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service to tenants
Requirements
* Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
* 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is desirable but not essential
* Proven experience working within domestic or social housing environments
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Own van and tools are essential
