Gold Card Electrician – Permanent Position
Location: Commercial projects across London
Employment: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
We are looking for an experienced Gold Card Electrician to work permanently across a range of commercial projects throughout London.
The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician with strong commercial installation experience, excellent technical knowledge and the ability to complete work safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Complete electrical installations on commercial projects.
Install containment systems, including conduit, trunking, tray and basket.
Carry out first-fix and second-fix electrical work.
Install lighting, power, distribution boards and associated equipment.
Read and work accurately from drawings and specifications.
Complete testing, inspection and fault-finding where qualified.
Identify defects and complete remedial work.
Coordinate with supervisors, project managers and other trades.
Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas.
Follow site-specific and company health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
Valid JIB/ECS Gold Card.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
Current 18th Edition qualification.
Proven commercial electrical experience.
Strong knowledge of containment, lighting and power installations.
Ability to read electrical drawings.
Own hand tools and suitable PPE.
Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
Willingness and ability to travel between projects across London.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing qualification.
IPAF and PASMA certificates.
Previous experience across offices, hotels, residential developments, retail, education or healthcare projects.
Full UK driving licence.
