About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test electronic systems such as CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and AV equipment.
• Run and terminate cables, ensuring neat and compliant installations according to project specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
• Conduct thorough system testing and commissioning upon completion of installation.
• Provide basic training and handover to clients on the operation of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate installation records and site reports, ensuring all work is documented.

Requirements

• Previous experience in installing electronic systems, security systems, or AV equipment.
• Familiarity with various types of electronic components and wiring standards.
• Good understanding of basic electrical principles and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and installation manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license for travel throughout the Edinburgh area and beyond.
