Electronics Design Engineer - Mixed Signal / Robotics

Are you an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with strong expertise in mixed-signal electronics, digital design, sensors and PCB development?

If so, our client is looking to hire an Electronics Design Engineer based in Cambridge.

Key responsibilities of this Electronics Design Engineer job based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire:

Design and develop analogue and digital mixed-signal electronics for advanced robotic platforms Design electronics to interface with robotic odometry systems, including IMUs, GPS and RTK Develop and integrate digital electronics, sensors and associated interfaces Design and validate CAN interfaces connecting robotic electronics to motor controllers Work on electronics system architecture and contribute to ground-up system design Produce schematics and PCB designs, taking designs from concept through to implementation Progress existing prototype designs towards manufacturing and small-scale production

To be successful, you should have experience with:

4-5+ years' commercial experience as an Electronics Engineer or Electronics Design Engineer Strong experience in mixed-signal electronics design, with a particular strength in digital electronics Experience with analogue electronics and sensors Experience with schematic capture and PCB design Knowledge of interfaces such as CAN Experience designing electronics for sensors and/or systems such as IMU, GPS or RTK would be beneficial
