We're looking for an Electronics Design Engineer with solid hands‑on experience in hardware design and a track record of taking products from initial concept through to manufacture .
Whether your experience is at 500V or several kilovolts , we're interested in engineers who understand the principles of high‑voltage design and enjoy tackling technically challenging problems.
The Role
Working within a multidisciplinary R&D team, you'll be responsible for the design, development and validation of electronic hardware , supporting products throughout the complete engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analogue and digital electronic hardware .
- Take products through the full design lifecycle , from concept and simulation through to prototyping, testing, qualification and industrialisation.
- Produce schematics, technical documentation and test specifications .
- Support EMC, environmental and product validation testing .
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Production teams to support successful NPI and product introduction .
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to ongoing product development.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support the resolution of design and production challenges.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Mid-level experience in electronics hardware design and development .
- Experience taking electronic products through the complete design lifecycle .
- Practical knowledge of power electronics, power supplies and/or DC-DC converters .
- Experience with PCB design and simulation tools such as Altium, Zuken, PSpice or LTspice .
- Experience supporting EMC testing and product qualification .
- High-voltage electronics , ideally around 500V+.
- Closed-loop control systems .
- Knowledge of IEC 62368-1 or similar electrical/electronic safety standards.
