Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Role: Electronics Hardware Design Engineer Location: Cheshire but mostly remote Onsite: mostly remote but sporadically required onsite 1x a week or every few / months Level: Senior and yourself managed so min 5 year experience We are an Electronics Design and Manufacturing company where our engineers are exposed to a lot of variety due to the vast range of industries we deal with. With that comes a lot of challenges, we are a small team working in a fast-paced environment with very limited ability to lean on one another. We value quality and aim for a right first-time approach. This role involves design of hardware for embedded and control systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout. Core requirements:

• Electronics Design Engineer with 15+ years experience
• Electronic design and schematic capture
• Multilayer PCB layout and design
• Prototype testing
• Component obsolescence
• Ability to work with limited specifications & make engineering design decisions
• Ability to work under pressure across multiple projects whilst maintaining detail and accuracy
• Strong Analogue and Digital electronics design
• Schematic design and multilayer PCB layout ideally Altium and lay the circuit board in Altium
• Altium Designer experience

• Production or manufacturing test experience
• Developing test solutions/fixtures
• Firmware or embedded software experience in embedded C and ideally C++
• Altium Designer experience

• Programming and debugging C, C++, STM32, PIC
• Touch GFX
