About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Embedded Systems Electrical Engineer to join their innovative product development team in Liverpool . This role focuses on the design, development, and integration of embedded hardware solutions for next-generation electronic devices. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, translating complex requirements into robust and efficient embedded systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded hardware, including schematic capture and PCB layout for microcontrollers and associated components.
- Integrate embedded systems with software components, ensuring seamless operation.
- Conduct hardware testing, debugging, and performance analysis of embedded solutions.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to define hardware requirements and optimize system performance.
- Select appropriate microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces for embedded applications.
- Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in embedded hardware design and development.
- Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
- Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, ESP32) and associated peripherals.
- Understanding of firmware development principles and debugging techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
