Employee Benefits Director (Health & Risk Consulting)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Isio’s fast growing Employee Benefits business, which spans strategic benefit design, workplace health & wellbeing consulting, DC pensions, benefits technology and employee engagement & support.

Within the Workplace Health & Wellbeing (WH&W) team, we are seeking an experienced consulting leader with a proven track record in building & scaling risk & health teams in the UK corporate market. This role is ideal for someone looking to work in a fast-paced and agile environment, who enjoys driving growth and commercial results.

The Workplace Health & Wellbeing Director will be responsible for helping to grow and scale the Workplace Health & Wellbeing team as part of Isio’s 2030 vision. We are looking for a senior leader with proven experience at established consulting, advisory and broking organisations.

What does the role entail?

• Building Isio’s consulting & broking capabilities at scale, including back-office functions as part of a scalable operating model.
• Driving fast-paced revenue growth, including onboarding new clients, cross-sell to existing Isio clients, and expanding existing client relationships.
• Working across risk and health functions for mid-market/corporate clients, delivering exceptional levels of service.
• Collaborating across the Employee Benefits business, to provide a holistic approach to wellbeing for Isio clients, including flexible benefits technology.
• Working across Isio with subject matter experts to deliver innovative and impactful Thought Leadership.
• Design, creation and refinement of delivery and support processes across the client journey.
• Driving Continual Improvement across the Isio client bank, including margin expansion and client satisfaction.
• Recruitment, on-boarding and management of a fast-growing team.
• Collaborating with leadership across the EB Business and WH&W team.

What we’re looking for?

• A recognised UK market consulting leader, with established relationships at major carriers.
• Experience of working at an established consulting & advisory firm.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience of successfully growing sales and revenue over a sustained period.
• A consulting role model, capable of inspiring and developing junior colleagues.
• A track record of innovation, deep knowledge of market trends and history of impactful thought leadership.
• An organised, data driven, and operationally focussed business leader.
• Excellent people and communication skills, capable of motivating a team and communicating with C-suite stakeholder.
