Employee Relations Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and empathetic Employee Relations Specialist to join their HR team, with the flexibility of remote work. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary issues.
• Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on complex ER matters.
• Develop and update employee relations policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for managers on best practices in employee relations.
• Advise on performance management issues and conduct investigations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and company policies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or in a similar HR role with a focus on ER, ideally with experience supporting clients in or near Wolverhampton .
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, mediation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
