Employment law expert - fully remote, flexible hours

Role Description This is a fully remote role for an Employment Law Expert, offering flexible working hours. We are looking to fill anything from 10 hours a week to 40 hours a week.

In this role, you will provide practical, user-friendly guidance on employment rights and tribunal processes to individuals using Valla’s platform. You will review case information, identify key legal issues, and help users understand the strengths and weaknesses of their claims.

Day-to-day, you will support users through written advice and online consultations, and ensure information is accurate, clear, and accessible. You may also collaborate with the product team to improve workflows, suggest content updates, and help refine tools that make employment law more navigable for non-lawyers.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication to explain complex legal concepts clearly to litigants in person with empathy.
• Expert knowledge of employment law and employment tribunal procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage flexible hours, and maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools and comfort working in a tech-forward, fast-evolving environment.
