About the Role

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Law Solicitor to join their dedicated team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role focuses on providing expert advice to employers and employees on a wide range of employment law issues, from contracts and policies to complex disputes and tribunal claims. You will play a key role in advising clients on compliance, risk management, and strategic employment matters. Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers on drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
• Represent clients in employment tribunals and employment appeal tribunals.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancy processes, and TUPE.
• Conduct legal research and keep clients informed of changes in employment legislation.
• Negotiate settlement agreements and manage employment disputes effectively.
• Deliver training sessions to clients on employment law compliance.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' experience specializing in employment law .
• Proven experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working model.
