About the Role

Our client, a reputable firm in Stoke-on-Trent , is actively seeking a skilled Employment Law Specialist to lead their dedicated employment law practice. This role requires a solicitor with a deep understanding of employment legislation and a passion for advising businesses and individuals on employment-related matters. You will manage a diverse caseload, including advising on disciplinary procedures, dismissals, discrimination claims, and employment contracts. Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers and employees on all aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, and disputes.
• Represent clients in employment tribunals and related legal proceedings.
• Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR policies.
• Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in employment legislation and case law.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with significant experience in employment law.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and tribunal procedures.
• Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Strong client relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy legal practice.
