Employment Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their thriving practice in Cardiff . This role focuses on advising a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to larger corporations, on all aspects of employment law. You will handle contentious and non-contentious matters, including employment tribunal claims, contract drafting, disciplinary procedures, and TUPE. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex employment law issues, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, and redundancy.
• Draft and review employment contracts, service agreements, and workplace policies.
• Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings and other dispute resolution forums.
• Provide guidance on internal disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Assist with business restructures, TUPE consultations, and outsourcing projects.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law compliance.

Requirements

• A Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 5 years' experience specializing in employment law .
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Proven experience in advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Experience in handling employment tribunal claims is essential.
• Excellent communication, client management, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a caseload efficiently.
