Employment Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their thriving practice, operating on a remote basis. This role is essential for providing expert advice to both employers and employees on a wide range of employment law issues. You will be responsible for handling contentious and non-contentious matters, including drafting employment contracts, advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, and representing clients in employment tribunals. As a remote-based professional, you will need to be self-motivated and adept at managing your own workload while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers on all aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, disciplinary actions, and dismissals.
• Represent clients in employment tribunal claims, negotiations, and settlements.
• Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and company policies.
• Provide guidance on issues such as discrimination, harassment, and redundancy.
• Conduct internal investigations and assist with mediation processes.
• Stay current with employment legislation and case law developments.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 4 years of dedicated employment law experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practices.
• Proven experience in advising clients and representing them in tribunals.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload remotely.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
