About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Employment Lawyer to join their busy practice based in Reading . This is an office-based role, offering a collaborative and supportive environment to engage with clients and colleagues. You will be responsible for advising a diverse range of clients on all aspects of employment law, handling contentious and non-contentious matters. Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers and employees on issues such as contracts, disciplinary procedures, and grievances.
• Represent clients in employment tribunals and other dispute resolution forums.
• Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and company policies.
• Provide guidance on redundancy processes, discrimination claims, and TUPE regulations.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law matters.
• Keep clients informed of changes in employment legislation and best practices.

Requirements

• A qualified solicitor or barrister with a strong focus on employment law .
• Minimum of 3 years' experience advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to working within a traditional office setting.
